Can the ferrule be removed to shorten the braided cable housing?
Please use tools to cut the tip off and slide back the ferrule (or directly take off the ferrule). Wrap tape at the place you need to cut (to prevent fraying), make the cut, leaving a bit of the tape on the end. Carefully slide the ferrule over the freshly cut end.
It can only be shortened, not lengthened. Please make sure the length is correct before cutting.
