User Guide
① What is Resin & Hardener – Resin and hardener are inert liquids that cure when mixed, producing heat.
② How to Measure & Mix in 5 Steps:
Step 1: Follow the mixing directions.
Step 2: Determine total volume, then divide into Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener).
Step 3: Ensure materials and workspace are at ideal temperature.
Step 4: Measure resin and hardener into separate cups accurately.
Step 5: Combine and stir well, scraping sides and tools.
③ Safety Precautions:
Wear gloves.
Ensure good ventilation.
Wear plastic apron (optional).
Wear safety goggles.
Use respirator or mask.
Colorful Resin Effect
Combine additives with epoxy adhesives for casting and coating. Effective additives include:
Eye shadow
Acrylic paint
Mica powders
Alcohol-based inks
Gold foil
Cellphone case decorations
Suitable For
Use on artworks, resin paintings, table tops, timber features, or anywhere a deep finish is needed. One resin coat ≈ 50 coats of varnish.
Use Colorant Resin Pigment for high-permeability, odorless, concentrated color results.
Tips
Mix pigments gradually to achieve desired color. Add small amounts incrementally to control shade.
Coverage
1 L of mixed resin covers ~1 m² of flat non-porous surface. Working time ~45 mins; initial cure ~18 hours; full cure ~3 days.
Cleaning Up
Clean brushes and tools with Acetone or MEK.
Note
Mixed resin must be used immediately.
Use gloves. Hands can be cleaned with soap, water, vinegar, or hand cleaner. Remove bubbles using Bubble Buster spray or blow torch.
