Description:
Mold silicone rubber is a two-component silicone rubber at room temperature, abbreviated as RTV.
This is a two-component compound.
The A component contains a crosslinking agent and the B component contains a catalyst.
During packaging, the crosslinker and catalyst must be separated.
Vulcanization occurs at room temperature when the two components are mixed in a certain ratio.
The two-component compound undergoes a cross-linking reaction to form a flexible and elastic colloid.
Nature:
(1) Good chemical stability, non-toxic and non-corrosive;
(2) Good fluidity, can fill the mold automatically;
(3) Controllable vulcanization speed at room temperature and normal pressure, easy to operate;
(4) Good demouldability;
(5) Strong simulation and realistic decoration;
(6) Fast mold making, mold can be made within 20h.
Operation method:
1. Stir the silicone and curing agent evenly. Component A is silicone, component B is curing agent. Example: Take 100g of silicone and add 2-3g of curing agent. Mix thoroughly.
2. Vacuum exhaust air bubble treatment: Remove bubbles after mixing. Do not exceed 10 minutes.
3. Painting or operation process: Pour or brush silicone evenly onto the product. Use gauze and weft cloth to increase strength if needed.
4. Production of outer mold: Surround the mold with rubber sheets, wooden boards, or use resin painting and fiberglass to complete outer mold.
5. Filling or pouring mold: For smooth/simple products. Pour vacuumed silicone onto product. Soft silicone hardness recommended for easy demolding.
Use:
Suitable for slicing brush molds, such as cement products, cultural stones, sandstone reliefs, resin crafts, tire molds, etc.
Instructions:
Read the user guide before starting. Use in a ventilated area. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and vinyl gloves. Store material at room temperature (23°C). Premix Parts A and B thoroughly. Avoid cure inhibition from contaminants. Apply a release agent if necessary. Mix thoroughly, vacuum, pour, and cure silicone properly. Mold performance depends on usage; clean and store molds on a level surface in a cool, dry environment.
